MP3 Player Looks/Sounds Familiar
from the copy-everything dept
eDigital has come out with a handheld MP3 player that looks somewhat similar to Apple’s iPod, and goes by the name Treo 10 – which is strikingly similar to Handpring’s new Treo device. The player is bigger than the iPod, but also cheaper. It also is designed for Windows boxes, as opposed to the Mac-only iPod. As for the name, they say it’s pronounced differently “tray-o” as opposed to “tree-o” for Handspring’s device. Both companies have trademarks on the name.

Just like the iPod?
People keep saying “X is just like the iPod only it’s a little bigger, a little cheaper, and doesn’t support FireWire.” That’s like saying I’m just like Michael Jordan, except I’m a little shorter, less well-paid, and can’t play basketball.
