Dot Commer To Car Salesman…

from the how-far-a-jump-is-that? dept

Here’s a former dot com marketing guy who can’t find a job, so instead he’s now selling cars at a Saturn dealership, but still considers himself an “online marketer”. So, he’s trying to use this experience to come up with lessons that can be brought back into the online world. I’m glad he’s trying to gain something useful out of the experience, but his conclusions all seem pretty obvious – and things he probably should have known before. Anyway, I’m sure many people don’t think it’s a big leap from selling worthless shares in a dot com starup or shilling for some vaporware dot com service to selling cars…
