French Can't Enforce Laws On US Websites

A US Judge has decided that the French courts overstepped their bounds in telling Yahoo they had to remove Nazi auction material in accordance with French anti-hate laws. Even though Yahoo eventually removed the products any way, the court has said that the French laws don’t apply to US based websites. This, of course, has plenty of implications for lots of websites, and what laws they will be subject to.
