Love At First Sight
from the or-so-they-brain-says dept
An interesting study being talked about over at the BBC, concerning how the human brain reacts to eye contact with someone who is attractive. It seems that your brain perks up and the “reward center” is activated whenever you make eye contact with someone you find attractive. The same results aren’t found when the eyes of the attractive person are averted. So, this is just a friendly reminder to the shy folks out there who seem to have a problem with eye contact. It appears the brain is hard-wired to work better that way.
