Maybe HP-Compaq Isn't Such A Bad Idea?

Well, with all the (acronym alert) PR HP CEO Carly Fiorina has been pushing about why the HP-Compaq merger will work, it seems she’s finally convinced one journalist. He even admits that he’s probably the only one outside of the Fiorina-Capellas brain trust who thinks it’s a good idea. So what reason does he give? They couldn’t do anything else. That doesn’t seem too convincing to me. They had to merge because what else would they do? Seems pretty weak.
