Wireless Web Not Connecting

from the no-one-cares dept

Turns out the wireless web hype is dying off pretty quickly. Syebold held a seminar yesterday to discuss the wireless publishing world and the place was half empty. Of course, some of that might have to do with the events of September 11th (people have other things to do or don’t want to/can’t travel). However, I think it’s good that most of the hype might be dying off quickly. That means that something real and useful might actually come out of the remaining companies. Besides, if some really amazing wireless product suddenly jumped up, I’m sure the hype machine can get back to generating very quickly.
