Sentimental About Irony?

from the too-much-to-think-about dept

Okay, not specifically a technology story, but I was talking yesterday about the “death of irony”, so I figured I’d post this somewhat long and rambling piece suggesting that it’s not irony that’s dead, it’s just the smartass shrug – and instead, we’re now able to enter a golden age of true irony. Of course, the article itself seems to be severely lacking in some necessary irony, but maybe I haven’t yet gotten rid of that smartass shrug.
