Snooping On Judges Is Okay
from the great dept
Remember the judges who were upset that their internet activity was being watched? Well, a committee that oversees federal judges has now said it’s okay to do some monitoring, but they can’t monitor email. I still think it’s interesting that not too many people have pointed out the irony that judges have okayed workplace monitoring in the courtroom when cases came before them, but flipped out when they realized they were subject to the same sorts of monitoring.
