CD Sales Dropping Despite The End Of Napster

Let’s see… while Napster was popular CD sales continued to grow worldwide and the music industry was doing better than ever. Now that Napster has been effectively silenced by the RIAA CD sales are dropping. Coincedence? Actually, it might be. I’m not sure I’d give Napster that much credit yet… Of course, those of us who believe Napster was useful for “trying before buying” could have told anyone in the music industry that they were making a mistake in shutting it down.
