There are a bunch of stories this week about the “20th anniversary of the IBM PC”. Most of them aren’t that interesting. However, here’s Larry Magid’s LA Times column where he talks about how he wrote the manual for a word processing program for that first PC under extreme secrecy. A pretty interesting story. He also talks about how he became involved with Personal Computing Magazine soon after that.
