CIA's Venture Capital Firm Is Doing Okay

A panel looking into the CIA’s well known venture capital arm, In-Q-Tel, was initially skeptical, but now they’ve been won over. The goal isn’t to make a profit, but to allow the CIA to get access to useful technologies at an early stage. It seems they’ve been successful in that mission. Plenty of startups want the CIA as a customer. As one startup CEO said, they give her good feedback as a customer so “it doesn’t matter if [the] phones are tapped”.
