High Tech Survival Guide
from the how-to-get-that-job dept
With the number of out-of-work techies that I know, I figure this might be a useful article. Some guy wrote a 20 page book that gives you useful tips on how to find a job these days. It sounds like this isn’t the typical junk that you get from job placement books, but really useful tricks like how to reach the hiring manager directly – and scripts to use when calling. I’m never sure how well any of these methods work, but it probably couldn’t hurt to check it out if you’ve been having problems finding a job. You could also just go straight to Amazon and check out the High Tech Survival Guide.

The High-Tech Survival Guide
Mike,
You’re right. I bought it off Amazon based on a friend’s recommendation and I love it! At 20 pages, it’s not one of those big career books and he’s got dozens of ideas to actually get a hold of the hiring manager.
It’s a great book.
Melissa.
