Cell Phone Symphony

from the it's-all-about-ringtones dept

Well, it had to happen soon or later. In Israel, they held a “Spring Cellphony” symphony with cell phones. Actually, it was a normal symphony, but each part during a ten minute medley began with a cell phone ring tone of the piece they were about to play. I wonder whose job it was to precisely time his or her phone call to the cell phone in question – or if they just cheated and had someone set to make the phone ring at the right time. Wouldn’t that be a great musician’s job in a symphony orchestra? “I play the cell phone. I have to call this one number at the exact right time…”
