Thinking Inside The PC Box

As we approach the twentieth anniversary of the date IBM introduced their first PC, The Standard points out that, in reality, not much has changed. While there is definitely research going on, it’s also not clear that very much will change drastically in the near future. My belief (still) is that if there is a drastic change in computing, it’s going to come from some area that most people aren’t expecting – rather than a big company or (even) a venture capital-backed, overhyped, start up.
