Defending The Cookie Monster

from the cookies-ain't-so-bad dept

A good article over at Salon pointing out that cookies are being unfairly targetted by people who are afraid of their privacy being violated. As someone who agrees with most of what’s written in this article I think it’s a good reminder to those who flip out every time a cookie is placed on their machine. You control your own cookies. Yes, cookies can occasionally be used maliciously, but it’s pretty rare, and for the most part, they’re very useful pieces of code.
