If your web business model isn’t working out, you need to take a step back and figure out where the hype is being focused on now. In the case of one company, they saw all the hype behind reality TV, and suddenly their little “web business” was morphed into a reality TV show. Of course, others have had this idea before, and I keep hearing about startups that want to do away with layoffs and replace them with “Survivor-style” kicking people off the island contests.
