AOL On Your Wrist?
from the they're-everywhere dept
AOL and Swatch have announced a deal to put internet access on your wrist. Yes, internet enabled watches. No, I have no idea what that means or what form it will take, but I guess it makes for a good press release. Chances are this is really more of a marketing deal with both brands advertising the other – but I’d be surprised if any sort of useful internet access device came out of it.

Favorite Web site addresses and AOL screen names would be able to be
stored on new products using Swatch technologies.
Re: The link sez
Yeah, but what does that mean? How is that internet access? Is it just a list of names and URLs? Or what?
Re: Re: The link sez
Yup. Internet access is enabled when you have URLs or name/passwords.
Re: Re: Re: The link sez
Huh? What does that mean? What internet access?
Wobbly
You’d have to make sure that you wore it on the stationary wrist or else you wouldn;t be able to see the porn properly……
