Mass Victimization Inevitable

If you’re feeling pessimistic about technology, you probably shouldn’t read this article. A new study suggests that since it’s so easy for systems to be broken into we should expect a mass victimization online sometime in the near future. The main factor that’s been holding this back so far? The fact that the economy is good – so the skilled programmers don’t have to turn to crime to make a living. However, if the economy keeps heading south, we might expect cyber crime to become more popular. Have a nice day.
