B2B No More

from the anything-but-B2B dept

Upside has a long article looking at the amazing changing face of B2B marketplaces. Most of them no longer call themselves B2B marketplaces and instead are trying to change their business model and pump up what they’re doing with a bunch of new buzzwords that mean even less than B2B did. It’s a bit confusing trying to figure out exactly what all those companies actually do, but I think it can be summed up by saying they’re all trying to figure out some way to actually get someone else to give them money to survive.
