NYC Busboy Is Master Web Criminal
from the don't-mess-with-the-NYC-busboy dept
I’ve been told not to mess with the busboys in NYC restaurant’s because they hold more power over what happens to your food than the chefs. However, I didn’t think that went beyond food preparation. Apparently, you should just be weary of NYC busboys altogether. The police have arrested a former NYC busboy who, they say, masterminded the largest theft of identities in internet history (well, at least the largest they’ve caught). He apparently was very good at what he did, and successfully got into the bank, brokerage and credit card accounts of people such as Steven Spielberg, Ted Turner, George Soros, Warren Buffet, Oprah Winfrey, and Michael Eisner among others. He did all this from the public library, apparently.
