Venture Capitalist Having The Time Of His Life

A great article from Stewart Alsop (who generally writes pretty interesting columns) saying that, as a venture capitalist, he’s having more fun now than before. Certainly things were fun when he was making a ton of money with every company he invested in – but everyone was – so there was never any challenge or skill involved. He felt as if he were just in the right place at the right time. A year ago a conversation with a portfolio CEO would be about valuation. Now it’s about business and that’s much more exciting and challenging.
