Best Net Stocks Yet To Come

from the taking-the-optimistic-viewpoint dept

A fairly optimistic article for those of you who think net stocks are dead dead dead. Forbes is pointing out that many of the early “success” stories from the PC days failed – and, in fact, the big names in the PC business (Dell, Compaq, and Gateway) all showed up much later in the game. In fact, they all went public well after the “PC Bubble”. Then, they all struggled at the beginning, before becoming some of the biggest gainers in the last decade. Not that history has to repeat itself, but if it does, ten years from now, the most successful stocks of the decade may be internet companies you’ve never even heard of.
