Amazon Not Filing For Bankruptcy

Apparently some rumors were coming out this morning that Amazon.com was filing for bankruptcy. It appears these rumors started in Germany and were probably just an extrapolation on the eToys announcement. Of course, Amazon has quite a bit of cash on hand, so it’s unlikely they’ll be filing for bankruptcy any time soon. As their spokesman said quite accurately: “We’ve got piles of moolah. People just don’t pay attention.”
