Is The Sky Falling? Hardly
from the it's-not-that-bad dept
The first semi-optimistic article I’ve seen in a little while suggesting that the world is not falling apart as badly as the press would have you believe. Yes, there have been a lot of layoffs, but many businesses are still going strong. To hear the press talk about this stuff you’d think that no one in Silicon Valley had a job any more. Update: Here’s another reasonably optimistic article that is very well written explaining that the web is still extremely useful, and companies still need to be involved with the web. It picks apart the hype very well.

Falling apart
Just wait till your Mr Dubya gets going…..

Sounds more like the article is trying to
pump the price of one particular company.
So this is like the article a few weeks ago
about how all the VCs think everyone else
besides them is going down, but their
investments are safe.
Re: No Subject Given
The hype machines still alive and well! When will people (even the godly VC’s) admit that in general they also make mistakes, I guess only the best can do that and not risk having their limited partners withdrawing.
