Funky New Windows Functions

David Coursey (quite possibly my favorite columnist) has outlined ten things you should know about the new windows OS. Initially cynical, but as he points out the new features he becomes surprisingly upbeat about the new release and how much of an improvement it is on older versions. I guess the “empire” seems to be listening to its users. Maybe they’re turning over a new leaf (oops… I forgot to mention Real Networks possible death due to MS windows media player’s tight integration).

some scary sh*t.
The “feature” of being able to log into someone else’s computer and “take over” sounds a little dangerous in the hands of the inXPerienced…
But it sounds a lot like MacOSX so far… I wonder if computers will actually get easier to use now?
Re: some scary sh*t.
Yeah I have to agree the whole, logging into your computer from a distance opens up a whole new range of hacks (we know how good microsoft is at preventing those!). I guess it might be time to build a personal security portal.
