Apparently, everyone has been pitching layoff stories to Salon. While they weren’t all that interesting individually… as a group, they’re much more exciting. They do give you a good feel of how badly many of these dot coms are handling the layoffs. Also, there’s an article from someone explaining what it feels like when you’re waiting to be laid off.
