Dot Com Super Bowl Stunt Derailed By NFL
from the the-NFL-has-no-sense-of-humor dept
Apparently, the NFL was pretty pissed off at an advertising stunt planned by a dot com. The dot com (who thought that advertising space during the Super Bowl was just too expensive) was offering $1,000 per second to whoever could get their company website on TV for the longest. Apparently, though, doing anything like that goes against the “contract” agreed to by ticket holders, and they could get ejected or even fined.
