Does Technology Bring Families Closer Together?
from the probably-depends-on-the-family dept
An interesting article looking at the question of whether or not technology brings families closer together. It’s interesting to see the different responses that people in the article have. It seems that the people who say no are vehemently against the idea of using technology to communicate. Personally, (as mentioned earlier) I’ve used things like email and instant messaging to stay in much closer touch with my family (who all live thousands of miles away). My guess is that, as with anything when it comes to technology, it’s all in how the person uses it. The technology itself is neither good nor bad. From my point of view, I’m all for anything that allows “better” communication – and if technology can help that process, then that’s a good thing.
