Lessons Learned From Dot Com Failures

from the teach-me,-please dept

Yet another article that tries to explain what we’ve all learned from the dot com downturn. Apparently the answers are: 1. Not everyone can start a business. 2. There are still good money making things that can come out of the internet (they’re just more boring). 3. Good companies can get better people more easily now. 4. Technology still keeps getting cooler. Items 1,2, and 4 should have been obvious before. Number 3 is really the only one that is a result of all the trouble in the sector (and I’m not even convinced it’s true).
