The Catholic Church in the Philippines has taken on the mission of supplying internet access to much of the country that wouldn’t receive it otherwise. The article explains how they filter out many sites, but have looked the other way when it comes to many online games. Their customers want the games, and so the only way to help pay for the infrastructure, they have to leave the games available.
