Lawyers Not Fired For Passing The Famous Email Around

from the just-disciplined dept

We’ve already written a couple times about the email in the UK about the… um… sexual practices of one of the lawyers. While originally people thought it was a hoax, it seems that it was real. The law firm had been considering disciplinary action, but has now decided not to fire the laywers involved. I think it would have been a completely ridiculous move to have fired the lawyers. While passing the email on may have showed poor judgment, I don’t think it should be a firable offense. It’s a funny email. For some awful reason, it’s human nature to just pass those things along.
