Saffron plans on launching software agents that are able to learn users preferences and then make recommendations (increasing personalisation). I have to admit that in terms of as an application for consumer shopping I have serious doubts about the advantages that this type of software would deliver to the merchant. On the other hand, I think that this personalisation technology could be extremely useful in increasing worker efficiencies.
