PR Wires End 15 Minute Delay

from the i-want-my-fake-news-now! dept

Two of the larger press release services have announced that they will no longer be delaying press releases by 15 minutes. Apparently the SEC has been upset that some people had access to information 15 minutes before others. This makes sense. I do wonder, however, if this will make it easier to release fraudulent press releases, such as the Emulex case.
