Inside.com Heads Back to Print
from the keep-trying dept
Inside.com launched to way too much hype a little while back. While the founders have been very secretive about how they actually plan to make money (assuming their $200/year subscription plan to the website fails – as it most likely will), they have now announced plans for a very traditional paper magazine. Weren’t we just discussing how there are too many of these? Inside.com still has the feeling of way too much hype and way too little substance. It’s run by people who don’t seem to understand what they’re doing. My favorite quote, though, is the following from one of the founders: “The Web is, like, really intense. I think I have a long way to go before I’ve mastered this medium.”
