Block Napster at Any Source – Says Sony

Apparently Sony is pissed off. No matter what happens with the Napster lawsuit they’ve decided they’re going to block Napster however they can. The quotes are amusing. They say that Sony is going to block Napster out “at the source” so that no one will be able to use it. It’s not exactly clear how Sony will do this, but they’re working on it. They also admit (finally) that this is all about protecting a revenue stream and not about (as the industry has claimed before) saving us from becoming a cultural wasteland where no one dares to produce music.
