The NY Times Discovers RTMark

from the look-at-that dept

The NY Times has discovered RTMark and has written an article about them describing them as a group that does “cultural sabotage via cyberspace”. If you don’t know who they are, they’re the folks who were responsible (depending on how you define “responsible”) for the switched G.I. Joe voice boxes, as well as the eToys/etoy protest. The real point of the article, though, is that the group has been successful in keeping itself hidden and immune to lawsuits by remaining fairly small and independent of each other via the internet.
