DeCSS Decision

from the can't-do-nothing dept

The DeCSS decision has come down barring 2600 from posting the code, or linking to downloads of the code. The blocking of links is a little troublesome for obvious reasons, but the argument is that the links were directly to the downloads of the software, rather than to another website. It seems simple enough to get around this, then, by just posting links to sites that offer the downloads themselves, instead of directly to the files.
