Well, now that most of the human genome has been read we?re all waiting for the end of all genetic diseases and the dawn of super drugs that will heal us instantly. Okay, that?s sort of far fetched but steps are being made by companies to use the human genome as a method of improve drug activity. One of the most notable companies involved in this is Rosetta Inpharmatics, they?re currently working on technology that may rapidly speed up our understanding of the genetic expression effects of drugs in cells(which to a biotech exec. means big bucks).
