NYC Police Commissioner Goes Dot Com

from the still-an-attraction dept

Okay, so the market is tanking and people are extra gleeful about pointing out dot com failures. That doesn’t mean that people no longer want to get in on the latest hot dot com. The latest high profile (if surprising) move is the Police Commisioner in New York City, Howard Safir, quitting that job to go to a dot com in Atlanta. It’s not exactly clear from the article what his role will be, but it sounds like that of a product manager. Seems like a step down, but I imagine the pressure is probably much less.
