New Service Lets Multiple Phones Ring at Once

from the kinda-cool dept

I’m not sure if I would pay for this technology (certainly not at the $10/month price stated), but it sounds somewhat cool. It will let you sign up all of your phone numbers, and if someone calls you, all of your phones will ring at once, so you can automatically get the call wherever you are. It would help solve the problem I have of having to call people I know at two or three places until I reach them. However, I wonder how this works if two people answer at once? For instance, if you share a phone line with housemates or family at home, and you have a cell phone. If I call your phone, and someone else picks up at your house, but I still want to reach you on your cell phone, what do I do? Or, can both phones be answered?
