Lots of Earnings

There were lots of big name internet companies announcing earnings today. Here are a few: Amazon had smaller than expected losses but also smaller than expected sales. Not necessarily a good sign. Plus their site was down for a bit today as well. EMachines is having major inventory problems leading to bigger than expected losses. The only good one of the bunch seems to be VerticalNet who had smaller than expected losses as well as getting their new top exec from Amazon.
