Zen and the Art of the Internet – On Your PalmPilot
from the fun-for-the-whole-family dept
Peregryn writes “An article on PalmGear HQ, notes that Brendan Kehoe’s classic computer book, “Zen and the Art of the Internet” is available as a free Palm e-book from Qvadis, which makes a reader for the Palm device. The e-book version is the 1992 edition, and it is interesting to relive the wonder of that era, before “dot.com” became synonymous with “FailedCompany”, and before the “World Wide Web” became known as the “World Wide Wait.” Of course, there is a more recent print edition of the book that includes more recent technical innovations, but the contrast between the two is fun!”

Zen of Palm
I remember recommending ‘Zen and the Art of the Internet’ to my non-computer friends, way back when people were still discovering the web. Nice to see it back again, especially in ebook form on the Palm (kind of full circle, given the ‘Zen of Palm’ thing!). A true classic and must-read.
