Disney offers to pay for ToySmart.com list

from the the-mouse-saves-the-day dept

The Walt Disney Corp. has offered to purchase the ToySmart.com customer list and retire it permanently. Seems like a good solution to the problem that has cropped up and one that I hope the FTC will take them up on. It allows them to set a good precedent by showing they have some teeth in enforcing these type of issues and also protects customers by letting a reputable company take control of the list.
