The Era of Cut Down PC's

from the let's-roll-out-the-junk dept

Myturn.com is rolling out “cheap” PC’s (although, they don’t want to call them that) with really low specifications through Wal-Mart and Montgomery Ward . I guess the 40% of the US that hasn’t yet started using the internet may embrace simplicity but it seems a very difficult market to reach and there are some competitors in this area (like HomeAccess Microweb). Although, I can’t deny that the marketing power of Wal-Mart will undoubtedly be an extremely powerful push for Myturn.
