Inside Intel's Security
from the didn't-realize-this-was-such-a-big-deal dept
Salon has an article about Intel’s security measures where they imply that any “outsider” is treated as though they might be a spy. Well, it’s good to see nothing has changed. Having worked there a while back, I can say it’s not just outsiders, but absolutely everyone who is seen as a potential spy. You cannot leave their buildings with out having your possessions searched, even if you’re an employee. It never struck me as all that odd when I was there, but apparently it’s worth writing an article about. If I’d known I would have pitched the idea to Salon myself.
