NTT Buys Verio for $5.5 Billion

Japanese telecom company NTT has bought up US ISP/hosting company Verio for $5.5 billion. Seems like a bit of a high premium to pay for such a company, but NTT is showing that they want to be aggressive in moving into the US market, and one way to be aggressive is to over spend.
