Angry Worker Attacks Company Site

from the keep-your-database-people-happy dept

Apparently, a worker who was upset that his company wouldn’t give him a raise set up a computer attack to bring the company’s site down. He’s now been arrested and is facing up to 5 years in jail. The part that doesn’t make sense is they say he was upset the company wouldn’t give him a raise or more equity. However, this happened the day after they offered him a $70,000 raise and a ton of equity. Maybe the article means a $70k salary, but if they do mean a $70k raise, then this guy really has problems.
