Buy Through Your Phone Line

from the will-this-go-anywhere dept

AT&T has agreed to a deal that will allow people to pay for goods bought on line via their phone bill. The article makes it sound as if this is a brand new technology, but there have been at least two companies that have had similar technology for approximately 2 years, and it never really caught on. Of course, there are plenty of examples of products and services that didn’t catch on the first time, and with AT&T’s marketing muscle, perhaps something will happen this time.
