Tracking Chatting

from the be-careful-what-you-say... dept

Another possibly scary new technology is coming from a company called eNow.com. Apparently, they are going to scour the web and basically create a deja news-type service for chat rooms. They are going to monitor and archive all different chats from all over the web. The good things about this are that users should be able to better find relevant and active chat rooms from anywhere on the web. The scary parts are questions about privacy violations and the fact that most people think of chat is disappearing into nothingness after it’s written.
