Hoarding Intellectual Property

from the intriguing-concepts dept

Here’s a very interesting article about how people are hoarding ideas because of the fear that someone will steal them in today’s “information age”. It also suggests “tagging” different ideas to their originator so that ideas can be shared with the originator getting credit for them. Of course, I’m not sure how well this will work, as I wouldn’t put it past a lot of people to then just take the ideas as their own, but it is, to some extent, a way of “open sourcing” brainstorming.
